Do I need to upload all my products or setup a product feed to HAGGLEFREE™ site to participate?

No, we have a set of products from your industry and we hope that these cover the core of your product offerings. In the back-end of HAGGLEFREE™, you can set what categories and brands you supply so to minimize requests sent to you that you are unable to fill.

Can I automate the price feed to HAGGLEFREE™?

You certainly can. We tailor for most common shopping carts so the process should be easy and quick.

If we do not have a PHP designed for your shopping cart then a simple data feed daily using a CSV file is sufficient. Please contact us for more information.

Do I need to quote every single job that I receive?

You are not required to quote on all jobs but we hope that you will quote on as many as you can. You will receive requests on products that you cannot source, cannot quote competitively or you may just not have the time to quote.

How long do I have before I need to quote a job?

HAGGLEFREE™ promises customers 1 business hour so we ask that you quote as soon as you receive the request if you intend on quoting.

Quoting each job one by one is very labor intensive, can we automate the quotation process?

Keep in mind that HAGGLEFREE™ is a hybrid online and physical store solution and as such requires the labor component to work.

We agree that it is far more labor intense to quote each job than an automated response system but we also believe that its far more time consuming dealing with customers on the retail floor. We happily spend an hour if required on one customer at the store because the conversion rate is very high so it’s a question of effort vs conversion.

 

We do offer automation for quotes and many of our members are making offers via data feed. You can even specify a discount on certain categories/brands with ease.

What is the Budget Conscious category about?

There are many situations where the customer is looking for an inexpensive TV for the kids room, a fridge for their investment property and the priority is getting it at the cheapest price so this allows the retailers to quote any brand or model within the classification of the selected product.

Will HAGGLEFREE™ list all the products that I am offering in my business?

HAGGLEFREE™ will only list products that we believe can be supplied by a number of retailers. We will actively remove products that do not achieve the desired result due to lack of supplier’s engagement. We will also add products where a number of members make a request.

Please email us at info@hagglefree.com.au if you believe we should add any particular product(s), we will review these and add at our discretion.

What if I don’t have some of the products that are listed on HaggleFree?

You can select what product categories you can supply and which brands but there will be gaps where you still may not be able to supply some products that meet the above conditions. If you see any product that you cannot supply then just ignore these, if overtime we see that this is a big problem then we will fine tune the software to better filter the requests.

How are the lead fee charges calculated and charged?

There are no charges during the pilot phase.

 

What will it cost me to join whilst the site is on Pilot phase?

We will not charge any of our merchants whilst we are in pilot phase. We will provide at least 7 days of notice when we decide to move into production version in which case you will be presented with all costs and a contract at that time.

We will be selective in which merchants we will sign up during the pilot mode as we want to work closely with partners that will help us with feedback and completely understand where we are in the cycle of product launch.

Are Lead Fees competitive on HAGGLEFREE™?

There are no charges during the pilot phase.

 

How much notice do I need to give if the platform is not working for me?

We just need 24 hours of notice as we are not interested in locking merchants in just to charge them. We want to build a platform that is a win-win between all parties but if we fail to achieve this for you then we are more than happy to terminate the service for you.

Can anyone join as a Merchant?

We currently only accept retail businesses with a physical store where customers can inspect products if required or pick up from. Applicants must have a valid ABN and have access to Australian stock that they wish to sell through HAGGLEFREE™.

HAGGLEFREE™ reserves the right to refuse any application without any reason and to terminate any existing Merchant without cause.

What industries does HAGGLEFREE™ cover?

We currently cater to Home appliances industry as well as Bathrooms and Kitchen fixtures. We expect to rapidly expand into other industries where products are unified by their product code/SKU. If you have an interest in a different industry than we currently are covering, then we are interested in talking to you.
